Cinco de Mayo Eats and Drinks

Sunday is Cinco de Mayo! Planning your own fiesta? Check out these inspired eats and drinks.

Did you know the Daisy was the original Margarita (“margarita” translates to “daisy” in English)? This Miami-born variation adds a bit of earthy red pepper to the agave-fueled mix.

No Cinco celebration is complete without a batch of Margaritas, and this grapefruit-spiked version mixes up enough for a fiesta for four.

Tortilla chip, meet tequila-spiked queso. Queso, tortilla chip.

Tacos on the menu? Fill your tortillas with this pepper- and beer-braised beef and homemade pico.

Hello, dessert! These tequila-spiked ice pops from Fanny Gerson’s Paletas are the cherry on top of any Cinco de Mayo celebration.
